I am having the same problems on my new iMac 3 weeks in from delivery. I never had the same problems on my last iMac which was running High Sierra. This one quits while mid application, then nothing else responds. Does this at least 5 — 6 times a day. This Mac has been pimped up with all highest specs. I agree. Buy any kind of PC and save your money. Then run Disk Utility and First Aid from that installation disk. Make sure you click on the Repair Permissions button after repairing your disk. Sorry about your MB troubles. Maintain a hold on these keys until the Apple logo comes on screen. Once your laptop starts up, navigate to Disk Utilities and run First Aid if possible.
